Harry Siddons Mowbray_August 5, 1858_1928_In 1879 Harry went to Paris and studied at the Atelier of Leon Bonnat, he studied with Bonnat until 1883. We are taking a hard look at Mowbray because he studied with Leon Bonnat who was an advocate of Vermeer and Velasquez and he seems to cross paths on a regular basis with the lineage we prefer and highly recommend.

Mowbray became a member of the National Academy of Design in 1888.
